This spring, resurrect a new way in life that will benefit you and your family’s health. Whether it be in eating better, exercising, taking time out of a busy schedule to relax a few minutes each day, or getting enough rest.
It can be a time to reflect on our lives and develop insight into changes that our minds and bodies may be desperately in need of.
As a result of being inside the majority of this long winter season, our moods have taken a turn for the worse. We may be feeling frustrated, anxious, isolated and even overall “blue”.
When we suffer from physical symptoms it affects the mental self as well.
Here are some recommendations to Spring into good health:
* Be honest with yourself about what needs to change in your life and make a plan
Honor a gorgeous spring day with a bike ride a hike or a picnic. Pack feel-good foods such as olives, apples, turkey, almonds, vegetables and dip, and even dark chocolate. And don’t forget to take and drink your water! You’ll find yourself with more energy.
There are many healthy ways to welcome in the beautiful spring season.
No matter how busy your life gets, you can always make time for eating right and staying fit. So, scratch “I’m too busy” from your excuses list.
We all have the innate ability to heal; for it is not something someone else gives to us – it is an ability we are born with!
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper and be in health just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2)
